Whether you’re a fan or not, you’re sure to have heard about Jay Z’s latest release Magna Carta Holy Grail.
The marketing campaign was quite simply epic, selling one million copies to Samsung for their customers before release and even picturing the album cover next to the original Magna Carta itself in Salisbury which the Dean of Salisbury was apparently, and non-sarcastically “delighted” about.
Jay Z has had a chat with Radio 1’s Zane Lowe about it all, with four parts being released over the week. See the video below for part 1, I really like the story of how the track BBC came together.
I wonder if Zane asks how he feels about the average review score for the album being a measly 57.
